My teaching philosophy is grounded in the idea that all students are unique individuals and I strive to allow them to see themselves as capable learners. We can achieve this goal by establishing meaningful relationships of mutual respect and confidence. It is our duty as teachers to not only encourage them to pursue their goals but to guide them in their social and emotional development. Preparing our students in a well-rounded manner that combines academic success and the social and emotional stability will guide them throughout their school years and beyond. Our students are well aware that we care about them and that they are our students forever.

Learning is a delicate platform that flurishes from a seed of trust and understanding. Students need to trust and understand that their teacher is working towards a educated plan to establish the best learning journey for their students. This allows the teacher to tailor students' learning of the specific subject and personal development of life skills surrounding that semantic field. Ultimately, the aim is to guide and develop students to become more confident with questioning life and develop more critical thinking skills to allow them to have their best arsenal of skills  to go into the world prepared.

I believe in students learning independence. I teach them to understand that their education is in their own hands, and they must be able to actively push themselves to meet their goals. I will show students the path to higher learning. It is they who must walk it, while I provide guidance and assistance along the way.

A compassionate teacher could teach students to appreciate the privileges they have and direct them towards the path they perceive to be appropriate.

A teacher's job is more than just imparting knowledge. I focus on creating an environment that fosters the expectation of respect between all people in the room. In having this expectation, it is my hope that it will extend into the daily lives of my students and that respect can be a centerpiece of their personalities. Regardless of any of our differences, we are all human and should show this basic attitude towards each other.

In the classroom, I aim to be seen as relatable to my students to allow them the opportunities for improvement in all regards and to provide a safe space free from judgment and a place to be themselves, while meeting the aims of the class.

教师的工作不仅仅是传授知识。我专注于创造一种氛围,期望培养所有人之间相互尊重。怀着这样的期 望,我希望它能延伸到学生的日常生活中,让尊重成为他们个性的核心,并展示出应该有的态度。

我从事教师7年有余,除了在教室里教学,我还担任数学和科学竞赛的教练,甚至组织课外活动,帮助学生提高他们的天赋和技能,同时培养他们的自尊和自信。教学也让我着迷,作为一个教育者,我的部分目标就是激发学生的好奇心。目前,我在加拿大学院教高一数学和科学。我一直很高兴能帮助我的学生学习,并见证他们在学习上取得成功。

数学教学的本质是在重视学生个体学习能力的同时,传达学科的美与简。我相信数学需要以不同的方式呈现,以吸引学生的注意力,并为学习特定主题提供不同的方法。在设计我的教学活动时,我尽量采用一种实用的方法,让学生在实践中学习。作为一名教师,我制定课堂指导,通过给学生提供各种学习平台,使他们的学习潜力最大化。以学生为中心的讨论、亲手实践活动、小组合作项目、反思性写作、技术和一些介绍性讲座是我向学生展示数学概念的几种方式

I think a good teacher does not have to be very strict, but he must have principles. Students must hand in their homework on time, their learning attitude should be correct, and they should concentrate in class. In class, I welcome students to ask questions in time. I like to interact with students to create a relaxed and pleasant classroom atmosphere. Students can relax their mind, think about questions and ask questions, so that I can timely answer the students' questions and improve classroom efficiency. I hope that students should be down-to-earth, believe in themselves, from each class every homework in solid, continuous progress, it will naturally come naturally. Believe in yourself, surpass yourself again and again, and stick to it, you will surely gain more!

我认为好的老师不一定要非常严格,但是必须得有原则,学生作业必须按时上交,学生的学习态度要端正,上课精力集中。在课堂上,我非常欢迎学生有问题要及时提问,我喜欢和学生互动,营造轻松愉悦的课堂氛围,学生们能够放松心态,思考问题提出问题,这样我才能及时解答同学们的问题,提高课堂效率。我希望同学们要做到脚踏实地,相信自己,从每一节课每一次作业中扎扎实实走过,不断进步,自然是水到渠成的了。相信自己,一次次超越自己,并且坚持到底,你定会收获更多!

All students also need to begin their mountain climb with their feet planted on the ground. Once students understand basic knowledge, they then have the opportunity to apply and master new skills, think 'outside of the box*, as well as develop and explore a voice that is their own.
